Special offer delegate rate for the Inclusion Summit at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio

Between 15-16 September 2016, a special conference covering all aspects of inclusivity will take place alongside the Paralympic Games as part of the IPC Academy Campus (in partnership with the World Academy of Sport).

Until 30 June 2016, booking a place on the Inclusion Summit will be available at a special rate of EUR 900 representing a saving of 10% on the usual delegate price. This will then increase to EUR 1,000 thereafter if places are still available. VAT is not applicable.

The Inclusion Summit will provide the ultimate forum to bring together business leaders, governments and the Paralympic Movement to discuss inclusion and accessibility, how these impact on society, and what the Paralympic Games represent as a catalyst for change.

The Summit will be divided into three segments:

  • Understanding Inclusion (Policy Setting)
  • Inclusive Leadership (Strategy adopted in past and future host cities)
  • Delivering Inclusion (Operations, how inclusion has been applied).

Confirmed speakers include IPC President Sir Philip Craven, IPC Vice President & President of the Brazil NPC Andrew Parsons, and Carla Qualtrough – Canada’s Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities.

Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, Carlos Nuzman, Chairman, Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Kihong Kim, Vice Secretary General for Games Planning, PyeongChang 2018 will also share their expertise with what will be a variety of high level delegates from across the major events industry globally.

A must-attend Cocktail Reception will bring proceedings to a close on 16 September and allow attendees to network with all participants of the Campus, which also includes an IPC Observers’ Programme and Games Experience Programme.

With places strictly limited, we encourage you to book as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this unique opportunity.
